People Pfirst Pflugerville respects the privacy of members, donors, volunteers, event attendees, and site visitors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and when it may be shared.

People Pfirst Pflugerville is a Texas general-purpose political action committee. Contributions are not tax-deductible, and some contribution information may be reported or disclosed when required by campaign finance, tax, banking, legal, or compliance rules.

Forms and donations

Our join form may collect first name, last name, email address, optional phone number, membership interest, and communication opt-in information. The form is processed through Formspree.

We may use Action Network for email lists, SMS lists, event RSVPs, petitions, forms, surveys, and organizing communications. If you submit information through an Action Network form or sign up for updates, Action Network may process that information on our behalf.

If you donate through Givebutter, Givebutter may collect donor information such as name, email address, mailing address, phone number, donation details, and other information requested as part of the donation process. Payment information is handled by Givebutter's payment processors. We do not receive or store your full credit card or bank account information.

Email and SMS communications

If you provide your email address, we may use it to follow up about membership, donations, events, volunteer opportunities, organizational updates, and other People Pfirst Pflugerville activities.

If you provide your phone number and opt in to SMS updates, we may use it for membership follow-up, organizing opportunities, events, news, donation-related communications, and other People Pfirst Pflugerville updates. Consent to receive promotional or organizing text messages is voluntary and is not required to join, donate, or participate.

You can unsubscribe from email updates using the unsubscribe option in the message when available, or by contacting us. You can opt out of SMS updates by following the instructions in the text message, such as replying STOP where supported, or by contacting us.

Donations and Givebutter

Our site uses Givebutter donation technology. When you interact with a Givebutter donation form, widget, campaign, receipt, text-to-donate flow, or donor communication tool, information you provide may be collected and processed by Givebutter and its service providers.

Givebutter may provide People Pfirst Pflugerville with donor and transaction information so we can maintain records, thank donors, follow up, reconcile donations, and meet legal obligations. Givebutter's own privacy policy applies to its services.

Website analytics, cookies, and local storage

Our site is hosted and protected using Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver, secure, and measure the website.

The site also stores your light/dark theme preference in your browser's local storage under ppf-theme. This setting stays on your device and is used only to remember your display preference.

Third-party tools, including Givebutter and Action Network, may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies when their forms, widgets, or pages are loaded or used.

How we share information
