There's a role here for every schedule
You don't have to be a political veteran, and you don't have to have ten hours a week. Start with one thing that fits your life, then decide whether you want to keep going.
Find what fits your life
If you're new here, the easiest first step is to show up once, meet a few people, and see what feels useful. From there, you can stay local and low-key or take on more.
Show up to a voter registration shift
Staff a table at a community event, help register voters, and share information about local elections. No political experience required. We'll cover everything you need before the shift, and provide all the supplies you'll need.
Volunteer for a shiftAttend a membership meeting
Monthly meetings cover current campaigns, organizational decisions, and upcoming events. They're the best way to stay informed and connected without committing to an ongoing role. We offer them both in-person and virtually.

People Pfirst develops leaders for organizational roles and for elected and appointed positions: city council, school board, planning commissions, MUD boards. If you're interested in running for something, reach out.
Talk with us about runningContribute your skills
We regularly need help with communications, data, graphic design, event logistics, and canvassing coordination. If you have a specific skill to offer, tell us, and we'll find a place for it.
